Land Court Bill – CASAC Submission

CASAC today submitted to the Portfolio Committee on Justice and Correctional Services its written submissions on the Land Court Bill which is aimed at establishing a permanent and specialist court to deal with land rights claims and disputes, among other land reform issues. Once established, the Land Court will be instrumental in resolving the systemic issues which have stalled the progress of South Africa’s land reform programme and will be a new avenue for ordinary citizens to vindicate their rights.
